Diamond offers a range of small form factor conduction-cooled single board computers ranging in performance from Intel® Atom™ N270 to Core 2 Duo™ CPUs.
Conduction-cooled SBCs keep the CPU and other electronics inside the enclosure cooler than traditional heat sinks, enhancing reliability. The heat is transmitted directly to the enclosure wall via a heat spreader mounted on the bottom of the board. Positioning the heat spreader on the bottom side frees the top side of the SBC to make adding I/O expansion modules easier. This innovative architecture enhances reliability, extends useful operating temperature range, and allows for higher functional density in smaller enclosures.
Our conduction-cooled SBCs are available in a variety of popular form factors, including single board computers and COMs.
